The Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana or the PMAY is an ambitious affordable housing project initiated by the central government of India, which aims to provide a home for all poor citizens in India and home loan subsidy for the eligible beneficiaries. The PMAY – Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana, which was launched in June 2015 is a central government initiated an affordable housing scheme to provide affordable housing units to all Indian citizens. As per the scheme mandate, the government aims to build more than two crore affordable housing units across different cities in India by 2022. The new home built under PMAY will have all the essential amenities like clean sanitation, electricity supply and clean water.

If you have completed your PMAY application, you will get an application reference number, which you can use to check if your name has appeared in the PMAY beneficiary list. Since the PMAY scheme caters to the housing needs of people from both rural and urban area, the officials release a beneficiary list for both the categories. There are four ways to check your name in the list. To check your name on the list, you must have your registration ID or the application reference number, Aadhaar card number.

How to check your name in the PMAY – Urban beneficiary list with your Aadhaar card number?

Checking your name in the PMAY beneficiary list is easy, you can check your name online. You must follow the below steps:

• Visit the office PMAY website –www.pmayis.gov.in
• Next, click on the ‘search beneficiary’ option from the top panel, you will be re-directed to a new page.
• On the new page, you must enter your Aadhaar number
• When you submit the necessary information, the details of PMAY application will appear on the screen along with the status.

How to check your name in the PMAY – Urban beneficiary list without Aadhaar card number?

• If you do not have Aadhar card, you can still check your PMAY application status and search your name in the beneficiary list with your assessment ID or with your mobile number.
• Visit the PMAY website and click on the track application tab from the menu on the top
• Here enter your assessment ID and generate the application status

How to check your name in the PMAY – Rural beneficiary list with registration number?

If you have applied for the housing loan subsidy under the Pradhan Mantri AwasGramin Yojana or PMAY Rural scheme, you can check your name in the beneficiary list with your registration number.

Visit the official PMAY – Gramin website at https://rhreporting.nic.in/netiay/Benificiary.aspx, and you can check the status by entering your registration number.

How to check your name in the PMAY – Rural beneficiary list without registration number?

If you do not have the registration number, follow the below steps to check your name in the beneficiary list.

Visit the website – https://rhreporting.nic.in/netiay/Benificiary.aspx

Here you must select appropriate options like the state name, district name, scheme name, and the panchayat

Once you submit the necessary details, your bank details, personal information and the completion and sanction status of your application will be displayed on the screen.
