Evangelical Tours of Israel – Explore the Holy Land in 7 Days
Every year thousands of Christians visit the holy land of Israel. If you have never been to Israel before, this is the right time to plan and explore the holy places in Israel. The tour includes the popular destinations such as the Sea where Jesus walked, the mountains where Jesus gave his sermon, or the city where he was born.
Having so many holy places to visit in a country can be confusing sometimes, especially if this is the first time you are planning to visit Israel. But you can always rely on GS travel for creating a personalized itinerary that works best according to your personal preference and needs.
Jerusalem
The city of Jerusalem is one of the holiest cities in the world. It has Mt. of Olives, Kidron Valley, Garden Tomb, Mount of Olives, and many more sacred places to visit. From the Mount of Olives you get the panoramic view of the whole city with the Temple Mount. In the same city, there is a Garden of Gethsemane, the place where Jesus was arrested according to the Holy Bible.
When you go more towards the old city, you will see the Church of St. Anne, the Pool of Bethesda. You can walk through the Via Dolorosa where Jesus had to walk on a 50-meter long trail. There is an exciting bazaar just beside the Jewish Quarter, Cardo, and the excavated Herodian Quarter.
The Dead Sea
Dead Sea is the world’s lowest place where the water is too salty for anyone to sink. Even if you try to swim, you can’t and you will only float in the water. The oasis of Ein Gedi along the shores of the Dead Sea is the place where David hid from King Saul. You can drive from here to the city of Essen’s – Qumran where the Dead Sea scrolls were discovered by a shepherd in a cave.
